| Call the Greater New Orleans 2-1-1 (GNO 2-1-1) when you need help and don't know where to turn. Call if you are experiencing problems and having difficulty coping. Our counselors will listen to your concerns, provide counseling over the phone, and help you find health or human services in your community that can help. GNO 2-1-1 has a Community Resource Directory with over 3,100 local programs. Our counselors can locate and refer callers to personal and family crisis assistance, housing resources, mental health services, utility and rental assistance, food banks, medical care, disaster-related services, job training services, elder and child care, legal services, disability assistance, and more.
